Before submitting please read the following about presentation naming.
Please name your paper in the following format:
‘number’_’First 5 words of the Presentation’
Where ‘number’ matches to your assigned number found in the agenda at: link
E.g., If your Paper is C-24, “Evaluating CIPR Models in a Table Top Exercise” then the name of the file would be:
“C-24_Evaluating CIPR Models in a”.
An email link was sent out to the POC of the presentation from papers [at] sedcconference.org. If you did not receive this email please check your spam folder, otherwise email info [at] sedccon.org to request the registration link.
A Presenter Only Attendee does not receive conference material and is only permitted to attend their presentation/panel block (e.g., if your presentation is the first of the 3 presentation block, you are permitted to attend only the other presentations in that block). A Co-Presenter Only Attendee may also visit with SEDC 2014’s Exhibitors in the Promenade. Co-Presenter Only Attendee are NOT PERMITTED to attend keynotes, lunch, or other paper blocks. Do I have to use the slide template or can I use my own?
Yes, you can use your own slide template for the presentation. We do ask that you make sure your slides are legible and they do not contain any inappropriate language or images.
What formats for slides are allowed?
Please submit your slides in one of the following formats: pdf, pptx, ppsx, ppt, or pps.
What ratio should the slides be in?
4:3. You are allowed to use other ratios, however please verify readability on a 4:3 projector.
Can I make changes to the slides after I have submitted them?
Yes, You can make changes by email papers [at] sedcconference.org with your changes.
How long is a paper presentation?
We have schedule each presentation for 25 minutes of presentation and 5 minutes of questions. If your presentation conforms to more of a question & answer format you are more than welcome to reduce the presentation time to match your format. All we require is that you total time be less than or equal to 30 minutes.
Can I bring my own computer to present with?
No, we ask that you build or presentation to work on our presentation computers. If your presentation requires special capabilities please email info [at] sedccon.org.
What kind of computer will be running the presentation?
The computers will be running Microsoft Windows 7 or greater with Microsoft Office 2003 or greater.
Will there be a microphone for presentations?
No, we will not be providing microphones for paper presentations.
